And in true small town fashion, the school is teaming up with Bay Oaks Recreation Campus, the Town of Fort Myers Beach and Matanzas Pass Preserve to put on a shindig worthy of this amazing accomplishment. Called a 'Community Block Party', the event will be held on November 16th from 1-4pm all along Oak Street, and feature arts and crafts vendors, games and rides for the kids, tours of the Preserve and Library and more. County Pitches New Proposal for Boulevard
A new
proposal for three major road projects in Lee County's five-year Capital
Improvements Plan -one that involves a revisal for the upcoming Estero
Boulevard Improvements Project, along with Alico Road four-laning and Homestead
Road four-laning- has been tentatively agreed upon by the Board of County
Commissioners.
