NYE Fireworks, Town Celebrates 24th B-Day

Fireworks over the Pier.

Ring in the next “Roaring ‘20’s” all day and evening on Fort Myers Beach, with cupcakes, music and fireworks, as the Town celebrates New Year’s Eve and its 24^th birthday! Everything culminates at Midnight, with spectacular fireworks off the Fort Myers Beach Pier! “Fireworks will last roughly 15 minutes,” said Sarah Mayher, the Bay Oaks Recreational Center Campus Manager. “While the Fireworks Fundraising Committee is raising moneys to pay for fireworks, the Town covers all additional expenses, like permitting, fourteen port-a-potties in Lynn Hall Memorial Park including four ADA units, and Lee County Sheriffs Office additional patrols. The Town’s Parks & Recreation Staff will be at Times Square all day, taking care of all necessary issues while handing out promotional items and small giveaways.”  Full article and resource
